Maine Center for Disease Control & Prevention (Maine CDC)

The Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention aims to develop and deliver services that promote the health and well-being of the citizens of Maine. The agency works to protect public health and safety by disseminating information that will promote healthy lifestyles and assist people in making more informed decisions. They work on a broad spectrum of health related issues: infectious disease, food borne pathogens, occupational safety and health, health promotion and education.
