Healthy Maine Partnerships

Healthy Maine Partnerships is a collaboration among state and local communities working together to reduce tobacco use and tobacco-related chronic disease, focusing on changing policies and environments to be more supportive of decreased tobacco use, increased physical activity, healthy eating, and chronic-disease prevention. There are 28 local HMP districts throughout the state. Grantees develop and implement a program tailored to meet their communitys needs. They are given tools to develop social marketing materials and are supported in setting goals and outcomes for the programs success.
